Christmas Cards and Soliders Away From Home

I was browsing around Hallmark and Coach House the other day and I was kind of surprised to see how few Christmas cards are actually of decent quality. See, I was looking in the bulk packages (25+) but they were all so standard and generic that I ended up walking the aisles and selecting individual cards for each person. When I got to the counter the sales clerk actually had the cheek to point out their gift card sets.
Clearly I found them lacking f I opted to by over two dozen cards individually!
These were just the ones for family and friends mind you, I didn’t even have a chance to pick up the ones my mother is going to use to send to her clients. Oh, and a piece of advice: Christmas Cards business owners, they’re a great way to show your clients that you appreciate their patronage.
If you haven’t gotten your cards yet you might want to consider visiting the GalleryCollection.com and browsing over their selection. GC.com, along with Soldiers Angels, are providing soldiers away from home this holiday season with a nice care package. GC.com included a greeting card that wished each soldier a happy holiday and, most importantly, said thank you for what these soldiers are doing. I love that last part. You might not like the man in the oval office and why he sent our soldiers overseas, but you shouldn’t stop supporting our troops because of it.
Along with the holiday greeting card was also enclosed a blank one so that soldiers could send a holiday message to family and friends as well.
Definitely the coolest!

Ello, sounds like your preparing yourself.
Anyways, just thought I’d stop by to wish ya a great Thanksgiving.
It’s very sweet that the greeting card companies are sending cards to soldiers. Makes me happy to hear that. Maybe that’s why I never got into xmas cards, they’re either boring or too religiousy. We still haven’t decided if we’re sending out cards yet heh.
