BTT: Oh, Horror!

I hope everyone had a fun Halloween this year. Mine was very tame, but it was nice to not have to work it for once. 
There are, technically, two questions for this week’s Booking Through Thursday:
What with yesterday being Halloween, and all . . . do you read horror? Stories of things that go bump in the night and keep you from sleeping?
Who me? Read horror? Nah, of course not! 
Seriously though, horror and fantasy are my favorite genres. Sadly though, most don’t make me jump at odd noises or keep me up at night. I suppose it takes a lot to spook me now. Occasionally though, I’ll stumble on one with a lot of gore that makes me twitch and delve deeper into the book. 
Yeah, I’m kind of odd that way.
I thought about asking you about whether you were participating in NaNoWriMo, but I asked that last year. Although . . . if you want to answer that one, too, please feel free to go ahead and do both, or either, your choice!
For the record, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, and no I won’t be participating. Perhaps if this fell in the summer or the beginning of the semester. But in November? Sorry, this is the time my workload for classes picks up to the extreme.

Haha yeah, I’m not a horror fan myself. I prefer not to identify with things of that sort for religious reasons. But who doesn’t love to read? I’m a bookworm, sort of, myself.
I love horror.
It’s my favorite genre. The problem is, none of it scares me. 
But it doesn’t stop me from reading it. LOL
I read horror along with everything else I read. No religious restrictions here. Happy BTT.
Horror/thriller/suspense books are a little fun to read. I used to love reading all of those Fear Street books. Not Goosebumps though because when the TV show came out, the monsters looked to scary for me to read. See, I can’t handle monsters, but I can handle rapists and murderers. Lol.
NaNoWriMo sounds interesting, except I’m very crappy on the creativity level. Maybe one day you could give it a shot when you have time!
