Bring on the Graduation Ceremony
Home Life, School - 6 Comments » - Posted on December, 14 at 6:40 pm
I fought my mom, but my mom won. What does this mean, you ask? It means tomorrow I shall be waking my ass up early in order to be dressed (semi-fancy to boot) and up at the Pan American center by 9am.
Yes folks, that means Joana is participating in the graduation ceremony.
I really didn’t want to, not at all, but my mom used the one weapon that gets me every time – tears. Can’t stand ‘em, and as soon as she got watery eyed and sniffled I went online and reserved my spot and picked up my cap and gown. -_- She’s evil incarnate I tell you.
So of course she’ll be taking pictures with my new digicam, and I imagine we’ll be getting some professional ones taken as well – so lots of pictures to come! I’ll even have some pictures of me in a skirt. WHAT?! Yeah, I’m wearing this nice velvet-like skirt for graduation, paired with some kick-ass boots of course.
Now, the next time I blog here I will be an official college graduate and an Alumni of New Mexico State University.

hello,
not really relevant to the article here; but thanks for the comment on my blog. I really appreciate it.

**no need to publish this part**
I get a decent number of pageviews there and many are from search results on google etc. but few readers take the time to comment.
I also have refrained from any advertisement, as I think most people ignore it/block it and revenue would be too little in exchange for giving google private info. It’s more of a “I-enjoy-the-idea-of-others-reading-my-stuff” thing.
**end note**

Woohoo! Congrats!
I’d have left you a voice comment, but one needs a microphone for that! LOL
Charity,
Thanks hun!
Now I pray I won’t trip over the stage. -_-; Biggest fear of mine.
A hearty congratulation to you! Send me (or post) your resume when you get a chance and I’ll fix it for free.
P.S. The pics might make a good Mute Monday offering this week. Theme of “Role Models”.
Ooh Joanana in a purty skirt I can’t wait to see those hehe. I’ll click that post next then hehe. I totally am with you though, I didn’t want to do my ceremony either, but the difference is my parents didn’t want me to do it also.
I was reading this and just had to laugh. It sounds like such a Joana thing to do by not going to the graduation ceremony. But of course, your mother won. Mothers are very sneaky and manipulative like that.
