Maria,

Better late than never is right! That paper is 150 points. That would have really hurt! I was tempted to just continue and turn it in since I did pull the article from one of the acceptable journals' website. But I figured he would either not accept it, or dock me a lot of points. And given how much it's worth, I couldn't afford that.

No they don't understand what the significance of turning in two late jerseys is. I mean common sense says that if all the others are done and other loads are being done that those two can't be combined with then those two have to get a load all to themselves. *bangs head* To make it worse, they're all guys and can't comprehend why I couldn't mix the loads up anyway.

Wow, that's so horrible! I'd hate to have to do all that work for nothing! Oh goodness. At least you figured out in time, yes? Better late than never!

Seriously, some people just don't understand that washing only two jerseys takes a whole lot of resources. Jeez people, consideration would be nice!

Julie,

Nope, no way to wait, and sadly that wasn't the only time they did that. They also neglected to mention that there were more towels in the locker room and didn't give them to me until I had already folded half of the ones turned in and was putting them away. Imagine my dismay to see towels being brought to me when everything else was in the dryer and I was, essentially, finished! :grr:

Haha, I got my butt to work, eventually, but I was so tired that I went to bed around 4am, then got back up at 15 to 8:00. But I finished it! I'm just re-reading it over and over to catch grammatical and spelling mistakes before printing it out.

Daniielle,

Yup, it's a habit of mine that has proven quite difficult to shake. It doesn't help any that the papers I write at the last minute always yield the best results as well. =/ I work good under pressure, and I know this, so it's difficult to change it.

I'm majoring in Criminal Justice with minors in Anthropology and Forensic Science. I hope to someday see myself as a forensic anthropologist, but we'll see. :)

Yikes, so there was no way to wait until another load huh? That job does not sound fun. You're no laundry latina! I'm glad it's almost over for you too. Wow that's a lot of work for that essay. Good luck and kick it's ass. I just love how the prof gives you requirements that the school can't even help with. It's like, sure, let me just go find some other school or library that carries these because obviously you are not providing us with the materials necessary *hates on evil profs* It sucks that you ended up having to research again but at least now you have your data and can write write write, right? Good luck!
