Bloggerwave Hassle Part II

And so the quest to receive compensation continues. The whole mess with Bloggerwave has yet to be resolved despite my steady deluge of emails and contact forms. The really sad thing is that from the looks of it people are still signing up with this company despite its false promises.
Opal, Tim, and Kai are just a few of the many bloggers who have stepped forward on the matter. There is some hope though, Sassy did report that she finally received payment today (May 21st) although she admitted to having to bombard them with emails and threaten them with litigation. She was due for payment on the 8th and according to a comment she left on Opal’s blog she finally received the payment today. It took 13 days for this issue to be resolved that is unacceptable and irresponsible behavior on the part of Bloggerwave.
I myself am still awaiting word back from these people. I have heard of some members receiving the following email, though I myself never received it:
Dear all, We are having some issues we need to clarify. Please read the guidelines when taking jobs. Our advertisers will only pay of job is done proberly and demands are met. A lot of you guys out there are doing a great job, but we still see a lot of misunderstandings. Please attach both link to advertiser and our sponsered by bloggerwave picture. Its very important to inform that this is commercial marketing. Feel free to write to us of you have some things we can improve on.
Best Regards Ulrik Thomsen CEO
Bloggerwave.com
Looks to me like Bloggerwave is trying to find a way out of paying people. I ask you this, is this a company you want to work with? Do you want to always be wondering if this is the time you might not get paid? Advertisers, do you really want your name, your company, associated with one that is known to not pay their own members? Do you want your own credibility and sales to be negatively affected in such a manner? Most probably not.
So what do you do if you’re in the same boat as myself and several other bloggers? Do you just stop taking opps and pray they’ll pay you? Hardly!
Get the word out about Bloggerwaves’ true motives and intents. Digg (or whatever other social bookmark you use) posts like this one and the ones of other members in order to get the word out there and counteract the flood of pro-bloggerwave articles. Yes there are raving reviews of bloggerwave floating around out there but considering the fact that one of only three opps available from Bloggerwave is a $10 paying one to promote bloggerwave is it really surprising there are pro bloggerwave posts?
Word of mouth is the best form of advertising that is why advertisers are adamantly seeking bloggers to advertise their products. Now bloggers, lets show them the real power of word of mouth advertising.
Edit:
Now adding a little more fuel to the fire, Brett of Top10Tech.com was able to further investigate the situation involving Bloggerwave via PayPal. It would appear that PayPal flagged Bloggerwave for having a possible fraudulent account and making payments with a stolen credit card or hacked account.
Bloggers, I would strongly advise you to stay away from this company. It’s clear to all involved that something smells rank.

Did you know that I get your emails twice now? I think your subscribe plugin is still activated from before the upgrade? It sucks that Bloggerware is being such a pain. Good luck beating your payment out of them.
I hope you get your payment. It’s sad that companies like this one take advantage of people.
Wow, I’d just say screw payment and run away very far away… or smite them with a big stick. lol.
I loves you!
I’m not going to even try to get my payment back. I just posted two articles for the company. I pulled them as soon as I heard about what was going on.
I’ll definitely see what needs to be done to file a complaint but going after them for $20, for me, isn’t worth it.
If they are using fraudulent cards they most likely are taking it from someone else’s card.
