I’m a huge fan of metal, symphonic, and gothic rock bands with a female fronted vocalist. The contrast between their voices and the music is awesome and empowering to me. I’m particularly a big fan of Within Temptation and Nightwish. That said, I thought to search Amie St. to find a new band to add to that list I sincerely believe I have found that in Nemesea. The song I selected for you to hear is the first one I found from them and listened to, “No More”.
The lead vocalist has a strong and hypnotic voice that manages to stand apart and work with the music at the same time. It’s got a gothic touch to hit, but also has a techno flavor. Couple this with the vocalist’s ability to hit some impressive ranges and you have a song you won’t be forgetting any time soon.
