Poetry TrepidationComposed within the first few minuets of fourth period Geometry. I sit here now Cannon fodder To the tyrant. Mysteries unsolved cryout For my aide But to do so Is not me. I want to move on But to do so I must succeed. Do I dare raise my voice Allow them to see That there really is more to me. With a furtive glace, I take note The darkened gazes The resigned faces. To awaken to this fear Is unknown to me So it is with a heavy heart That I will stand And follow the dictator’s plans. To cower is unheard of But to be brave That is something new. Alright, well anyone and everyone who knows me knows I suck at math. Not only that but as soon as some one mentions it bam! I'm instantly asleep. Now this class is my fourth period which it the last class of the day, surely you can see how hard it is for me to remain awake in there! Please Leave a Review
