Poetry HumiliationComposed during the middle of fourth period Geometry. To and fro they go as he smiles a smile That would rival the wickedly horned one(1). evil is this succubus who feeds off of Our humiliation. Our terror. Our shame. To do these acts for his amusement brings me down deeper than the Dead Sea. no one is safe not even I. My punishment served he flings me back no need for as I hurtle back through the air at last I spy an exit from here. So far from me I begin to loose sight but the prize is just too right and so I’ll stay for now to wipe that smile off his demonic face to show my strength and in the end I’ll be rewarded with Pomp and Circumstance(2). Well now this happens to be my second installment in my Geometry class poems. The First is Boredom, then Humiliation and thirdly Trepidation. (1)Wickedly Horned One- Old allusion to Lucifer, the devil. This term comes from Protestant time. "Horned One" also refers to Pan greek god of dance and wild creatures. Please Leave a Review
