 In a Nutshell

I'm a 23yr old Slytherin female who loves to dream, watch anime, read, drink tea, and sleep. I'm a bit introverted and I can be downright lazy at times. Dragons and kitties make me go 'aww!' but hypocrits, anime haters slow drivers, and spam make me go 'grr!'...more?

My Art

These "wonderous works of crap" are my original drawings, no fan made stuff here folks. For those who are curious no I have not had a chance to scan my RPG characters up yet.

Newest Works:
Battered Fey (colored version)

Battered Fey (colored).
Well it certainly took me long enough to get around to coloring this image. I'm so lazy and horrible! For some odd reason once I decided on the color of hair and wings I just couldn't decide on whether to do a plain background to compliment the image or a some sort of scene. Then when I decided that I would prefer some sceneary I couldn't decide on what scene. I ended up using a storm clouds brush set for the clouds you see rolling in over my sunset. I also utilized two different grass brushes as well.
medium used: edited and colored using Adobe Photoshop 8.0

Sock It to 'Em.
I'm not really sure what inspired this piece, I've had my mind on the fey and other mystical and magical creatures as of late yes, but then I go and draw an elf after drawing a fairy. Anyway, character's "battle" outfits whether they are from movies, comic books, cartoons, or anime are always elaborate and draw in the viewer's attention. I tried to give my elf a rather plain outfit that appeared simple enough that she could walk down the streets and not garner too many glances and yet would be conducive to fighting as well. What I came up with was this something simple, yet different. I also colored her hair and clothes on opposite spectrums in hopes of creating a nice contrast between the two.
medium used: color pencils

Battered Fey.
Pencil sketch that I inked and then scanned of a badly beaten and battered fairy. Even though she tilts forward as though she were about to topple over any minute now, and even though she is badly beaten and surrounded by a pool of her own blood she is not broken. That is the message I was trying to convey with this image, you can be battered and beaten but never broken. ^_^ I doubt I succeded very well.
medium used: pencil & ink

Lirit Grinsel.
Portrait piece I did of one of my main characters from my on-going novel "Maybe Another Day" commonly referred to as "MAD". Lirit tends to change his hair color around a bit but this is his most common style, a look he sports more often the rest.
medium used: color pencils

Morning Glory.
Well in my Biology lab we've been drawing non stop for the past three weeks. First it was skulls, then it was cells fungi and bacteria and now it was flowers. But these flowers were no fun to draw! We had to disect them and shove 'em under a microscope and then draw what we saw. Anyway I decided to draw something that I wanted to actually draw and flowers were on the brain. THis was done using a mixture of colorpencils and ink for the outlining.
medium used: color pencils

CowGirl.
A finished piece I made the mistake of drawing on notebookpaper. I didn't think I'd actually finsih and like the results folks! It was meant to be a doodle. Anyway I will definately edit out the lines and showcase a colored version soon.
medium used: pencil and ink

Yumei.
This is Yumei-chan! an original creation of mine she's had numerous appearances in various RPGs, songs, poetry and even held OC positions in some fanfics and doujinshi. This image was originaly done in color pencil however I didn't like how it scanned so I re-drew/created the image in Adobe and then I decided to play around with it a bit.
medium used: color pencil & Photoshop

Kodomono no Temari: Temari's child.
Typical color pencil art from me. It scanned oddly, I mean it almost looks like I didn't even blend, but thing is I did. I might re-color this in Adobe as well. Anyway the reason this is here and not in fanart is because - Temari has no son. This was just an idea that popped into my mind one day while procrastinating.
medium used: color pencils

Joana-nin Sketch.
This was the first sketch I did of myself as a ninja that was sadly done on notebook paper in ink. Surrounding her are just some brief information on her techniques, training and background. I'm definately re-drawing her over on regular paper.
medium used: ink

Incubus.
Sketch of an incubus in mid-air. This was done for a friend's tattoo. I seriously hope he dosn't use it. I am so ashamed of that tail! The tail aside, I'm actually pretty pleased with the way the overall drawing came out.
medium used: pencil & ink

Joana Shinobi.
Originally created for an RPG and then later re-hashed for the ninja teams at the DeviantArt Naruto Fan Club. This is suposed to be a rendition of myself as a shinobi of the hidden moon village.
medium used: pencil & ink

Kitsune Shinobi.
Alright and here is the colored version which looks much nicer in my opinion. I was able to edit out the blurred and mishappen lines that occured during scanning!
medium used: Adobe Photoshop

Kitsune Shinobi (BW).
This was drawn during (drum roll) math class, inked and then scanned. no. 3 in the Tanuki to Kitsune series
medium used: ink and pencil

Vamp Gal 1.
This was drawn one day while I was at work "working". It came out pretty good I thought, until people keep asking if she was nake and so I changed the neckline of her shirt to the high neck of her sweater that you see now and added the cross.
medium used: ink & pencil

Portrait 1.
Portrait sketch done in pencil. OMG! Its NOT anime. Yeah, I tried realism and frankly I suck.
medium used: soft pencil

Fruity Witch.
Drawn one day sitting bored in the office. Anyway Most of my works utilize a certain spectrum of colors I noticed, so I attempted to make something truly: cute, colorful, and cheery. Did I succede?
medium used: color pencils

Kitsune Portrait.
no. 3 of the 'Tanuki to Kitsune' series. My poor guy came out looking a lil femme, but alas that kitsune form of his looks kinda evil ne?
medium used: soft pencil

Alaric and Lirit.
Colored drawing of the two main characters of my latest novel adventure "Maybe Another Day" which features non other than Alaric Schatten and Lirit Grinsel. Originally I had colored this using color pencils but I didn't like how my scanner kept eating up the color of Lirit's jacket so I went ahead ad re-colored it on the computer.
medium used: Adobe Photshop

Kitsune Transformation.
no. 2 of the 'Tanuki to Kitsune' series. I suck at drawing magical scences, really I do, but over all I am pleased with how this turned out. Its the first kitsune drawn for the series, and she is drawn changing from her fox form to a human form. Wonder what pranks she'll play...
medium used: color pencils

Grand Old Flag.
no. 2 of the 'Patriot' series. One of the first patriotic songs I learned in school.
medium used: color pencils & ink

American Born, and Proud of it!
no. 1 of the 'Patriot' series. Frankly I'm tired of people downing the US and our military, especially when its fellow citizens of the US. In respone to all the negative jibes taken, I began a series showing off my patriotism. And I'm by far one of the least patriotic people actually. :)
medium used: color pencils

Gijinka Tanuki #1.
Well, I've frankly become fascinated with the legends and lore from Japan, specifically tales of the Tanuki and Kitsune actually. This is the first in a series of various designs and portraits I plan to do of the kitsuen and tanuki. Some will be hybrids (gijinkas) but most will be of them in their normal forms.
medium used: color pencils

Two of a Fey.
Ink art from me *blinks* wow I'm so cool ^^ just two of the fey from the deep depths of my mind. You might even say their my muses. Two very different types, totally different personalities yet they stick together, title derived from the saying "two of a feather".
medium used: ink

Sorceress.
Lovely, just some doodles I did while sitting in my math class at night ^^ I was actually suposed to be taking notes but alas the effort was in vain ^^
medium used: pencil

Oekeki 1.
I havn't used a mouse to draw in such a long time! Anyway just some simple mouse art drawn and colored in Paint.
medium used: Microsoft Paint

Oekeki 2.
More mouse art here folks. Well I seem to be getting better control over the mouse at least ^^;.
medium used: Microsoft Paint

Anymous Chibi Kid.
Okay this lil cutie was a New's Day gift/challenge, that I drew. The challenge given to me: "draw a chibi for me" when I asked: a chibi of who? I got hte response "an original". Needless to say when I asked for details like, male, female, blonde, brunette, black, aqua hair ect... I got "an original". And now you have this anymous chibi who came out pretty good. Drawn in pencil and colored using color pencils. This is the first time that I drew something and colored it without inking the lines first, I got admit it looks pretty good none the less.
medium used: color pencils

Angel Warrior.
I've been hanging around Mayra too long -_-; now I'd drawing angels galore. Anyway simple little drawing done in pencil and then inked.
medium used: pencil & ink

Ubber-Sexy.
I admit my inspiration came from Shuldich of Weiss Kreuz and his infamous line of "Am I not ubber-sexy?" ^_^ anyway I decided to draw a skater guy thinking Shuldich's infamous line. Kawaii ne?.
medium used: pencil

Catgirl.
Just a simple sketch done in pencil. Sexy catgirl very innocent eyes go figure.
medium used: pencil

Sorrowful Elf.
Pencil sketch of a very sad but beautiful elf. My scanner decided to chew it up a bit before giving me hte image. Anyway I thought I'd try out some new techniques and I have to admit I'm reall pleased with the end result.
medium used: pencil

History Notes.
Well I was really suposed to be taking down notes on today's lecture but instead I found myself doddling. Its been quite sometime since I felt the itch to draw anything. I decided to experiment with some new techniques, pretty good ne?
medium used: pencil

Rashka.
Colored pic of Rashka the main character of my on-going disator of a novel Masque. Heh I really do like how she came out in this and the story so far. ^_^ by far my best creation yet!
medium used: Microsoft Paint

Kouji Li.
(BW) sketch of one of my bud's characters. ALl I really know is he's a vampire, I'm assuming Assamite or Brujah other than that I know little to nothing of this chara. I'll find out more no doubt, after my chara gets sliced and diced.
medium used: pencil & ink

Masque.
(BW) Just a sketch of the main characters in an on-going story I've been writing. I'll probably post the first chapter up soon.
medium used: pencil & inked

Rowan Kestrel.
The colored drawing of Rowan Kestrel, one of my RPG characters. One of these days I'll get around to posting a page with their profiles!
medium used: Paintshop Pro

(BW) Rowan.
This is the black and white sketch of Rowan, simple really.
medium used: pencil & ink

Dream Sequence.
B&W sketch here, it really has no relevant logic..could be because its suposed to resemble a dream....
medium used: pencil

Last Image (colored).
Just the colored version Last Image. (My first work done with Paintshop!!)
medium used: Paintshop Pro

Last Image (BW).
A black and white scene in a cemeary, the last image we usually have of our loved ones. I've been told that she resembles Alice McCoy from Digimon Tamers, I'd just like to say that I had no intention of modeling her after Alice.
medium used: ink

Chibi Ryu.
Well a teacher gave me this pencil top and it had this lil guy on it, sans wings and blocks of course.
medium used: pencil

Anashka Warrior Fairy.
My sad lil fairy my first atempt at the faye ever. The color got a tad bit eaten up but oh well.
medium used: Microsoft Paint

Hello Nurse.
Ever see Animaniacs? Good. Anyway I remeber how Wacko and Yacko used to see a chick and "Helloooo Nurse!" so when I created my Adoption Center nurse (DMYIP) I had to make her uh little well...you get the picture.
