Memory Shrine v3.0
I decided to dablble with the much adored pop up layout and I even got to utilize
transparent scrollbars and frames. For the image I was going for a stained glass affect
to give it a church-esque feel. Despite the long periodof time that this layout stayed
up I wasn't too proud of it.

Memory Shrine v1.0
When I created this layout I was striving for a look that could be categorized as medieval gothic, but had a semblance of respect. As I was struggling for inspiration a friend suggested we go persuing a graveyard and see if there where any statues that inspired me. While we were there I saw a grave for this little boy who had died about six months ago. His tombstone was simple yet elegant. A beautiful gray/white marble tombstone and where the deication and his name was inscripted the stone was a solid gray allowing the letters to better stand out. Something about the simplicty of this marker made me wish to somehow imitate it.
Marble background made with Paint Shop Pro and much advice from Leslie.
